Popcorn Machine Hire
So, we was pretty happy with our first ever pop-up cinema event, but the popcorn machine flavouring didn't arrive in time, and we forgot the scoop! It didn't hinder things too much, we managed to get flavouring elsewhere, but not the stuff we really wanted!
That has now all changed, as you can see in the picture, the flavouring has arrived, and we're not afraid to post photos. This isn't your run-of-the-mill flavouring that you can pick-up in a super-market. This is a brand leader, normally reserved for cinema's only. It's this stuff that makes the pop-corn taste better, and why you can never get the same taste from home-made popcorn or even from a packet in the shops. This is the key!
Scoops... Who cares, right? Well... We do. We ordered some professional scoops, but they're just not that great. I mean, they're a bit small really, and when you want to bag them up quickly, you don't want to be messing about.
True story... I was in McDonald's thinking about how to make it easier, then I saw the guy bagging up french fries using this weird looking scoop. He put the bag over the end of the scoop, and was able to scoop and pur into the bag in one go. Less messy, quicker, and pretty big. I went home, googled all sorts of silly phrases about McDonald's scoppers, trying to work out where to get one, and finally did.
It's pretty cool, as it has two handles, so good for lefties or righties! We tried it out ourselves, and it makes a big difference.
