25 January 23 - Bouncy Castle Testing Day!

Bouncy Castle Testing

It's not something that we particularly enjoy, but every single inflatable must have an annual test. A bit like a service & MOT on your car.

Six of ours are due for testing (with many more not due till later int he year, as we have lots of recent purchases and new stock). So before the test expires, we have delivered them this morning to the registered RPII inspector, who will test the castles for safety, and issue a certificate.

Legally, you do not have to have your inflatables tested by an RPII inspector (or ADIPS). However, almost all insurance companies for PLI insist on a body recognised by the HSE (which is RPII or ADIPS) to carry out a test for the insurance to be valid.

Our insurance company does insist on this (as do every insurance company we know of). Besides the paper work, it's a good practise to get an independent body to carry out these tests. Having the inflatables inspected for safety independently gives our customers some peace of mind and reassurance that we are doing things safely, and not just taking our word for it.

So booking a bouncy castle or soft play package with us today, safe in the knowledge that we take our responsibilities for your safety seriously!
